2. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. When the website is accessed, the web server automatically records technical access data in server log files. This may include the requested file or page, date and time, transferred data volume, access status, browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, and the hostname or IP address of the accessing device.
The data is processed to provide a secure, stable and technically reliable website and to detect attacks or misuse. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure and reliable operation of this website.
According to STRATO, hostnames and IP addresses are anonymised in the log files made available to customers. The files are available for six weeks; older data is then no longer provided. We do not archive the logs beyond that period. STRATO processes this data on our behalf as hosting provider.
3. Contact
If you contact us by email or telephone, we process the information you provide in order to respond and handle any follow-up questions. Article 6(1)(b) GDPR applies where the request concerns a contract or pre-contractual steps; otherwise processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR and our legitimate interest in responding appropriately.
The data is deleted once the enquiry has been concluded, unless statutory retention duties or other legitimate grounds require continued storage.
4. Cookies, analytics and third-party content
This website does not use cookies, analytics, tracking or marketing services. Fonts and media are served locally. Third-party content is not embedded. The website contains ordinary external links; data is transferred to the relevant provider only when you follow such a link, and that provider is responsible for its own processing.
5. Your rights
Subject to the statutory conditions, you have rights of access (Article 15 GDPR), rectification (Article 16), erasure (Article 17), restriction (Article 18) and data portability (Article 20). Consent may be withdrawn at any time with future effect under Article 7(3).
You may object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR in accordance with Article 21 GDPR.
Under Article 77 GDPR, you may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, particularly in the member state of your habitual residence, workplace or the place of the alleged infringement.
6. Requirement to provide data
You are not obliged to provide us with personal data. Technical access data must nevertheless be processed so that the website can be accessed and operated securely.
7. Automated decision-making
No automated decision-making, including profiling, takes place.
